All personal information collected by Explosion Protection Technology is protected by the Privacy Act 1998.

The Privacy Act 1998 (as amended by the Privacy Amendment Private Sector Act 2000) and its 10 National Privacy Principles (NNPs) requires us to have procedures in place to cover the collection, use and disclosure of personal information we hold about you.

Personal information is information that identifies you.

Explosion Protection Technology collects and holds personal information such as names, address, phone numbers, fax numbers and e-mail addresses.

Explosion Protection Technology is committed to the responsible handling of personal information and to protecting an individual's right to privacy.

We obtain personal information:-

  • Directly from you in person, by telephone, fax, e-mail or post
  • From the workshop enrolment form when you are enrolled on one of our workshops

The personal information is used:-

  • When we provide you with our services
  • When we send you information promoting our services

We will not use your personal information for any other purpose without your consent. However, for the purpose of providing our services to you we may need to disclose your personal information to:-

  • The venue when you attend any of our workshops
  • Debt collection services
  • Where specifically required by law

You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you by writing to us. We do this to protect the confidentiality of your personal information.
